Innovation thrives in teams built from different backgrounds. We know this to be true now, but we also knew it in 1974, when a design director wrote a widely-circulated memo, titled “Philosophy of Design Review,” which championed diversity as critical to an effective design process. To help drive inclusive recruitment, our Master Class for Recruiters helps our talent acquisition team foster diversity across the company.

Developing talent throughout the organization is essential for the future of ADI. Our flagship Global Early Employee Challenge (GEEC) is an example of how we engage employees across functions and with different levels of seniority. ADI's culture also embraces an open-door approach to mentoring, so employees can develop relationships across departments to expand opportunities.

Our employee-led networks help underrepresented employees feel connected to their workplace and achieve their full potential value. 17% of our total employee population is a part of at least one employee-led network.

EXECUTE WITH EXCELLENCE

All voices need to be heard for every employee to excel, which is why we implemented a multi-year program around inclusion that started with unconscious bias training for hundreds of ADI leaders, including our executive team. The conversations continue after training to reinforce the importance and benefits of diversity of skills, styles and thoughts for global teams.

We strive to foster an agile culture where adaptability and transparency leads to expanding employee skills and helping employees capitalize on new opportunities. Our approach is to support employees to proactively find new career opportunities within the company through development discussions, training and mentoring.

SHARE OUR SUCCESS

We encourage our people to contribute and support their passions inside and outside work. One way we do so is through our Pay It Forward program, which engages high-performing female employees to support our diversity initiatives. To further support career development for women, we recently launched the new Elevate program, which focuses on developing the women of ADI, regardless of career level, into leadership positions.
